Someone is getting a new sweater for the new year!

Congratulations to Margaret Duclos whose photo of Royal, Brock and Alki received the most thumbs up from the Bean and Olly fans on Facebook!

We will be making a new years eve sweater for the cute girl with the dark hair and the white muzzle.  Fashion show to come!

We want to see your pet in holiday sweaters

Its holiday sweater time!  Post your best photo of your pet in a holiday outfit on our Facebook page.  We’ll make a custom New Years sweater for the photo that gets the most “likes” by  9am  11am PST on December 22, 2009.

About the custom sweater...

We stopped by Goodwill this afternoon and picked up a few kids holiday sweaters.  Below is the “before” version on Bean and Olly.  We have some tailoring and accessorizing to do this week to make these the best dog sweaters for the holiday ever.  We will post the final versions when they are done.

We will make a similar custom version for the pet that gets the most “likes” that they can wear in time for New Years Eve.

Additional notes

• In the case of a tie Bean will represent one photo and Olly will represent the other.  Then there will be a rock paper scissors duel, three rounds, to determine the final recipient
• We will send the final recipient the measurement requirements.  We will need the measurement requirements before EOD on December 23 in order to make the custom sweater and deliver in time for new years eve
• If there are multiple dogs in the photo with the most likes we will ask that you send measurement for all of the dogs, but we can only guarantee one sweater.  We will do our best to make multiple, but when we set this thing up we only factored in making one sweater in time for new years.
